Meet Joe (the) Boxer…

Today our family grew by one!

Meet Joe Boxer. He is our daughter’s and son’s birthday gift. He is eight weeks old.

As I blog this he is asleep on my lap. We looked online for puppies and found him via The Record. One the way home, Scott and I stopped at PetSmart and picked up puppy chow, a collar,  bed, and absorbent piddle pads. I brought the kids home and Maddie and Chase got  to meet him.

Chase- He stinks! Is his nose SUPPOSED to look like that?

Maddie- oh… he is so adorable. Will his tail grow?

 

Alicia + Gene + Ava | family session

I met  the Bakkum family in Midtown Sunday morning. Thank goodness we arrived at the same parking structure at the same time. I was so turned around, looked behind me and there they were ready to get capturing moments.

The wall above I couldn’t pass up. As I was lost trying to find the Crest Theater, I saw the wall and scribbled the location on my palm. I am glad I did…

Ava, six months, was an absolute princess! Mom and dad were pretty awesome too…

We wandered from Capitol Park and around the Midtown area…

I first met Alicia many, MANY moons ago as she was a college roommate of one of my best friends from high school. I met Gene a few years ago when I crashed on their couch before boarding a plane to visit the afore-mentioned friend to surprise her.

Almost 5…

Miss Maddie is turning 5 next week. And every year now, we take her yearly portraits. This year she is having a rock ‘n roll party. So she got to dress up a bit cool for her invite photos.

I love this photo… One Way… MY WAY! lol

She is always singing and playing her or her brother’s guitar. She loves music, which makes me very happy.

Halloween…

We had a lot of fun on Halloween. After we made the rounds to family, we joined our family friends, the Hernandez’s for a little trick-or-treating and yummy food. We started the night off with Thriller, which I had never seen before. The kids played, traded candy and more.

Maddie brings the D!

Maddie had her final game of the basketball season right after Chase. She usually runs up and down the court with her hands in the air. But Saturday was amazing!!!!

She was up in everyone’s face! Everyone was rolling. Her little feet were dancing all over the place. She got a steal and a rebound. She rocked!

Last game Chargers!

Chase’s last game of the season was Saturday. While warming up, he actually got to play running back and actually held the ball. He loves defense and going after flags, but it was nice to see him carry, even if it was just practice. He had his game face on and hustled throughout the game! They lost a heart breaker but tied for first!

Siblings Sam, Emma and Elliot joined in the fun celebrating the Halloween festivities! Sam and Emma were my very first clients… It is so much fun to see them grow. Sam and my son have been on several rec teams. Maddie’s loves following Emma around and playing as the boys play…

Gabriella | Halloween session…

Pebbles, I mean Gabriella, came to play during the mini-session too. I love the details in her costume like the itty, bitty bones. Her mommy’s friend made the costume!

Lexie & Cole | Halloween session…
