Meet the Phillips family. The rain let up just for us on Sunday and we were able to get out and visit Woodbridge Park.

They are a fun loving bunch and we even got to watch a little football together!

Nancy and Christian, started it all. They are so sweet and still so in love. Amazing!

Eric & Shawnessy. You might recognize their wonderful kids: Zachary, Nathan and Hannah.

Jason & Stacey. They are expecting a new little one.

Uncle David and the boys.

Three generations.

Cousins Claire and Hannah.

Claire, center, who had just awoken from a nap, wasn’t quite sure of letting go of Daddy’s hand. So he became one of the kids!

The Phillips clan!

Siblings Jason, David and Shawnessy.

Claire came to visit me all the way from Washington DC. Okay maybe not just me. :)

She is an adorable 2-and-a-half-year-old.  She still doesn’t believe me that a cow says quack, quack.

After a little bribing (a bag of Skittles, a DumDum sucker and cookie) she was ready for her close up.

Love this one!

Cousins.

Thank you Phillips family for allowing me the pleasure of photographing your family on an otherwise drizzly day.

$85 for two people. $10 for each additional person. 25 minute sessions.

So for Christmas I finally was upgraded to an iphone. Thank you honey!  My friend, Lauren,(aka the Urban Hippie) said I needed to get Instagram. So I did. And I love it!

I don’t need to carry my camera gear with everywhere I go. But will probably still take it most places. :)

Then I was perusing the pages of Sunset Magazine and saw a little photo collage. I can’t even remember what it was on, but inspiration took and I decided to make a collaboration of things that I shoot randomly on my Instagram gallery. So this is the first. It includes December to yesterday, in no particular order…

From left to right, top row:  1. There’s the frozen roof of my car. 2. Joe waiting for a tamale. 3. Donner Lake. 4. Crinkle cookies for Santa.

Second row: 1. Rockem’ Sockem Robots. A gift from Santa to my husband and me. 2. Sugar Bowl. 3. New Year’s Eve. 4. Tamales ready for steaming

Third row: 1. A friend’s San Pellegrino label. 2. A frozen orchard. 3. The kids at Olympic Village at Squaw Valley. 4. Film.

Last row: 1. Our basketball hoop. 2. POW! Reminds me of Amber. 3. Holly in my yard. 4: My name… in case I forget.

This year is going to be the year of exploration and fun. Thanks to my friend, Tricia, inspiration struck and it stuck hard. I have been wanting to get back to my roots of lifestyle photography. So here we go!

For Valentine’s Day, we will be visiting my favorite Delta town. We’ll be hanging out at the school-house, passing out valentines, being as sweet as a cupcake. Maybe even eat one or two….

In April, we venture up to Big Trees for a snow day. Snowball fights, sledding, snowmen and hot chocolate. Oh what fun!

In June, we are taking a trip to my past. Summers my family including my cousins would head up to Lake Alpine for wilderness fun. We skipped rocks, tried to fish, our moms made up bows from sticks and fishing line. It was the best.

This fall, we are heading up the hill. Apple Hill that is. I have a hankering for a fudge covered apple. It will be mine, but not before we have some super sweet photos in the orchards sipping apple cider and picking apples.

To wrap the year up will by my holiday session. I’ll find the cutest Charlie Brown-type Christmas tree. There will be twinkle lights. All taking place in a rustic barn.

I hope you will join me in exploring the area around us and capturing moments with your little ones.

Kendra + Derick met me Sunday at Jessie’s Grove Winery for their maternity session. You might recognize this fun couple from their {in love} session last summer.

Beautiful mama…

We were suppose to meet Saturday for the session, but the wind was wild. Luckily Sunday was beautiful!

Thank you Kendra + Derick. I look forward to meeting Baby!

Sunday, I met Adrian at Oak Grove Park for his 3 month {as i grow} session. He has grown so much since last I saw him.

Look at that sweet, handsome face!

Happy baby!

Then I snapped a couple of big sister, Leah! This lil lady has gown up too! She didn’t have those cute pigtails the last time I saw her.

Marilou and Santino, thank you for joining me. I couldn’t think of a better way to kick of 2012!

Happy New Year’s everyone! It has been an interesting year to say the least. I was hoping to have a wonderful collage of photos and text for you all tonight, but I haven’t had time. I decided to spend time with my friends and family.
I hope to in a couple of days to share some upcoming, awesome sessions. This year is going to be a new adventure. I am thinking a new look, website and more. It is time to take a leap I have been putting off. Even if I land on my face, which I tend to do from time to time, I know it will be totally worth it!
I hope you will check in and see what I have planned. Until then, goodnight and Happy New Year. Muah!!!

newVintage photography wishes you all a Merry MERRY little Christmas!

May you all find love, peace and joy with family and friends!

So Tuesday, in my mind, was the last possible day to photograph the kids before Christmas and to get cards done before New Years!

Both were just off illnesses. We are extremely busy between Taekwondo, Science Olympiad, homework…

But they survived. I survived. It is always harder to capture your own children. They are not afraid to get sassy with you. :)

We shot around the edges of East Lodi. I have dying to shoot in these places as sometimes the light and times are just not perfect. Today wasn’t one of those days.

Madison’s beautiful headband was crafted by Bébéroon Hats and Accessories.

I have known Kelly, the beautiful mama, for several years now. She is in fact, my first non-related, friend-from-high-school client! lol

Soon she and Nick will be getting married. I can’t wait for their engagement session.

The kids have grown and I have been able to watch them through the lens as well as through baseball. Sam was on the very first tot t-ball team we were on. My husband coached.

We met at Abundance Vineyards. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful family.
