This past weekend, my family visited Big Trees State Park past Arnold, CA. Although rainy and wet, it was beautiful. It reminded me of a photo that I took of my son, Chase, four years earlier. It is one of may favorite photos of him. It reminds me why I am a photographer. It was a moment that will never be reproduced again in his life. He wandered off just a few feet. I raised the camera and he turned around to see his footprints in the snow. That is why I love what I do. I capture a single moment. But the memory of it will last a lifetime.

Weddings are fun. You never know what is going to happen. Someone is always late, the ringbearer usually becomes the focus at somepoint. But it is all about love and celebrating with family and friends. Here are a few pics.
Here is lil’ Lexie at the local Grape Festival. She is FULL of energy and just as cute as can be. The moment I took this photo I knew it would be so her. She is bright and lively and just so much fun to be around.
