Mother’s Day is around the corner. If you want to get those special ladies something that will last a lifetime, well there are diamonds. There are also portraits of the very reason she is a mother. Maybe you’d like to schedule a session with mom and her babies. Perhaps you’d like to present your own mother with a piece of art of you. Mom-to-be? Document this special time with a canvas piece. These photos are of Mya and her mom, Dani, in Santa Cruz and Capitola.

This past weekend, my family visited Big Trees State Park past Arnold, CA. Although rainy and wet, it was beautiful. It reminded me of a photo that I took of my son, Chase, four years earlier. It is one of may favorite photos of him. It reminds me why I am a photographer. It was a moment that will never be reproduced again in his life. He wandered off just a few feet. I raised the camera and he turned around to see his footprints in the snow. That is why I love what I do. I capture a single moment. But the memory of it will last a lifetime.
