I first met Bailey at Buches of Beads where her owner, Heather, owns the shop with her mom. Bailey is a spunky bundle of fun. And she is a very fashionable pup….

I got to meet Ade on her way home to Southern California. She and her momma are good friends with Lauren, my urban hippie soul sister. She is a very sweet little girl. And those eyes…

This brunette beauty is Kathi. She is a personal fitness trainer and nutritional weight manager. This lovely lady needed something special for her husband. She is vivacious and her smile is contagious. So we met and here is we captured.

And of course, I couldn’t not shoot her canine friends.

This is Dora. She is a friend of mine. I work with her at the day job and she needed a Valentine’s gift.
Dora is hilarious, a great mom, a pretty good softball player – but today I saw just how beautiful she really is! She has these piercing eyes and a strength about her that words can’t describe….

Here are some shots…
The hubby has been wanting to get to the snow. So we left the laundry behind (yeah!) bundled up and loaded up the car.
“How much longer?”
“I’m hungry.”
Common road trip conversation pursues.
“Well get there when we get there. Just enjoy the ride.”
And after 30 minutes of arriving to Big Trees, Maddie declares it is time to go home. Just like clock work.
But we had fun. Chase saw some grown-ups sliding on their bellies like penguins. He tired his hand.

Daddy and Maddie made a snowman.

I clicked away. (I was a little fretful about my footing and the knee, so I didn’t get crazy.)
On the way home, Scott, took one of his” off the beaten path” turns and found a cool little spot for a photo.

I love my kids! They have to endure so much with a photographer mom. I have wanted to take photos of them puddle jumping for FOREVER. I just ask, we gather our things and find a spot. Almost anytime I have a hair-brained idea, they put up with me. Usually when it rains – it is cold, windy, down pours, etc. We have had a pretty warm winter thus far. So between the showers, the sun comes out. And this mom and her brood take advantage.

Inspired by my muses Saturday, I came up with these two new cards in addition to the previous cards.

I first met this beauty at a wedding shower and then had the honor of photographing her during the Halloween sessions. She is growing and beginning those dainty little steps. I absolutely love her fiery hair! And those eyes…
